Paint care

With the products from Swissvax, you are choosing a paint care system that builds on the various work steps and achieves the best results in terms of shine and care.

An exceptional result needs a good foundation:

You can achieve deep cleaning of all painted surfaces with Swissvax Paint Rubber. The cleaning compound gently removes deposits such as spray mist, flash rust and industrial deposits.

Application of Paint Rubber

1. Thoroughly wash and dry the vehicle.
2. Spray Swissvax Quick Finish onto the surface to be treated and move the Paint Rubber back and forth over the surface with light pressure.
3. If the paint does not feel smooth, repeat the process.
4. Treat the cleaned paint surface with Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Regular and seal with Swissvax Wax.

The Paint Rubber can be used as often as necessary until the entire modelling clay is saturated with dirt particles.

To create a good bond between the paint and Swissvax waxes, the paint layer should be treated with Swissvax Cleaner Fluid after washing and possibly Paint Rubber. This paint-caring nutrient solution works without abrasives and completely removes light scratches, tar, tree resin or old wax. For heavier scratches, we recommend Cleaner Fluid Strong or Medium as a first step.

Application of Cleaner Fluids

1. Wash and dry the vehicle thoroughly (treat with Paint Rubber if necessary).
2. Apply Cleaner Fluid Regular generously with a Swissvax cotton applicator (white) with an even up/down movement in a crosswise motion (no circular motion) over a surface such as the bonnet or both mudguards until the surface is evenly ‘nourished’.
3. Do not allow Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Regular to dry. Polish off the still damp Cleaner Fluid Regular with a Swissvax Micro-Fluffy microfibre cloth. Turn the cloth frequently. Please do not use any other commercially available microfibre cloths. Otherwise there is a risk of scratching!
4. Use the same method with Cleaner Fluid Medium and/or Strong.

The secret of a deep reflective and resistant paint surface lies in the handmade Swissvax waxes. You can choose between different types of wax depending on your requirements. Processing remains the same in each case.

Application of universal & special waxes

1. Apply Swissvax wax with a Swissvax sponge applicator (black) or with the palm of your hand so that an even film of wax forms on the paint surface.
2. Leave on for a few minutes, but do not allow to dry.
3. Wipe to a high gloss with a clean Swissvax Micro-Fluffy. Keep turning the cloth.
4. Do not touch the paint surface for 3 hours and place the vehicle in the sun at the next opportunity after treatment. Over the course of the hours, you will notice how the shine deepens.
5. If necessary, then briefly wipe the surface again with a Swissvax Micro-Polish (blue).
